Our low-temperature carbon steel pipes have been developed chiefly for use in low-temperature. They are low- to medium-carbon (0.20 to 0.30%), high-manganese (0.70 to 1.60%), silicon (0.15 to 0.60%) steels, which have a fine-grain structure with uniform carbide dispersion. Our LTCS pipe features moderate strength with toughness down to — 50°F (—46°C). ASTM A333 covers nominal wall seamless and welded carbon pipe.

ASTM A333 Steel Pipe Specification :-
ASTM A333 standard covers wall seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe intended for use at low temperatures. ASTM A333 alloy pipe shall be made by the seamless or welding process with the addition of no filler metal in the welding operation. All seamless and welded pipes shall be treated to control their microstructure. Tensile tests, impact tests, hydrostatic tests, and non-destructive electric tests shall be made in accordance to specified requirements. They are low- to medium-carbon (0.20 to 0.30%), high-manganese (0.70 to 1.60%), silicon (0.15 to 0.60%) steels, which have a fine-grain structure with uniform carbide dispersion. LTCS pipe features moderate strength with toughness down to — 50°F (—46°C).
