ASTM A671 EFW Pipe Specification :-
ASTM A671 are all standard Specification for Electric-Fusion-Welded Steel Pipe for Atmospheric and Lower Temperatures. It covers standard requirements for electric-fusion-welded steel pipe with filler metal added, for atmospheric and lower temperatures. ASTM A671M pipes are fabricated from a pressure vessel quality plate of various analysis and strength levels.
ASTM A671 Pipe shall designate the type of plate used while class shall designate the type of heat treatment performed during pipe manufacturing process. These Classes are designated as to whether the weld is radio graphically as well as pressure tested. All Steel specimens made by us undergo tension and transverse guided weld bend tests and conform to the specified mechanical requirements.
