As a chrome moly pipe supplier, Multi Metals (India) supplies seamless A335 chrome pipe for a variety of projects and applications for High Temperature Service. Often referred to as “P-Grade” material, Grades P-11, P-22 - P-91 & P-92 are prevalent grades for the power industry, while P-5 & P-9 are the grades utilized in major refinery processing.
We today stock nearly 5000MT of Chrome-Moly Alloy Steel ASTM A335 Steel Pipes, in seamless size ranging from 1/2" to 30" which is renowned for its tensile strength, corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength and cost-effectiveness. It is used in a wide variety of applications because of its versatile strength. All of these characteristics make chrome moly pipe an effective standard, especially in the power generation and petro-chemical industries. We solicit contacts from reputed Pipe mills to represent them & stock their products for resale to EPC Companies / Promoting Companies.
ASTM A335 (ASME SA335) is the standard specification for seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe for high-temperature service
This specification covers nominal wall and minimum wall seamless chrome moly seamless pipes for the power generation and petrochemical industries. ASTM A335 Seamless Steel Pipe ordered to this specification shall be suitable for fusion welding, bending, flanging (vanstoning), and similar forming operations. With chrome and moly element added, ASTM A335 offers good tensile strength, fine resistance to high temperature and corrosion.
It covers steel grades from P1 to P5, P9, P11, P22, P91. Grades P11/P22 and P91/92 are commonly used in power stations, while A335 grade P5 and P9 are mostly used for application in the petrochemical industry.
Pipe may be either hot finished or cold drawn with the finishing heat treatment
